My name is JR Rabago (he/him/his), and I'm a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Seattle University. Should you have any questions about Seattle University or the application process, please don't hesitate to schedule an interview or connect with me throughout the upcoming weeks or months.
Contact me: JRR@seattleu.edu or call or text 206-309-4630
I work with students from: Hawaii and Guam
My advice for students in the admissions process: Be passionate, vulnerable, and authentic in your personal statement. Writing on a topic that you are personally invested in will help us clearly see who you are.
My favorite Seattle event/festival: Pista sa Nayon, which is part of Seattle’s SeaFair. This event celebrates the heritage, cultural traditions, and all things Filipino. There are lots of FOOD, music, dance performances, and exhibits.
My favorite brunch spot in Seattle: Kauai Family Restaurant in Georgetown. After you are done eating there, get a slice of cake from Cakes of Paradise.
