CONNECT WITH KATE

Hello! My name is Kate Bittner (she/her), and I'm the Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment at Seattle University. Should you have any questions about Seattle University or the application process, please don't hesitate to schedule an interview or connect with me throughout the upcoming weeks or months.

    Contact me: KateB@seattleu.edu or (206) 296-2262
    Hometown: Kenosha, WI
College major: Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance

Favorite place on campus: The Labyrinth - you have to really explore campus in detail to find it. It's such a beautiful and tranquil space.

Favorite fun fact about SU: The campus is an "edible" campus! All of the plants are not treated with any pesticides or chemicals, so you can feel good about grabbing a blueberry or two off a bush near the chapel for a quick snack.

Advice for students in the admissions process:  Ask lots of questions of your admissions counselors! Don't ever feel like you're a burden to them—answering your questions is their job. We are so happy to help guide you to your best-fit school!

A fun fact about me: I studied a musical tradition from Bali very intensely in college called Gamelan! It's worth a google.
